An investigation was conducted by a Carver police sergeant. Belmont police joined in on the effort to locate the 36-year-old man.
Edmonds was recently indicted by a grand jury and he’ll go before a Superior Court judge in the coming weeks. He is being charged with four counts of rape of a child with force, four counts of aggravated rape of a child, and two counts of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14-years-old.
According to court records, the charges stem from multiple incidents with a child in Carver starting in June of 1999.
