Brockton: City to announce location of new air quality monitor

State environmental officials will announce the funding, location and timing for the placement of a real-time air quality monitor in Brockton in a City Hall ceremony Monday morning.

Energy and Environmental Affairs Secretary Rick Sullivan will make the announcement along with Mass DEP Commissioner Kenneth Kimmell.

Brockton Mayor Linda Balzotti, and a number of local state senators and representatives are also expected to attend.
