Brockton: Man charged with deliberately striking pedestrian with car

A young Brockton man apparently struck someone with his car at the Westgate Mall, and police say it was no accident.

It happened at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

21-year-old Max Tautkus is charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle and assault with a dangerous weapon.

Neither the victim’s name nor condition have been released.
