Hingham: Thief robs Rockland Trust bank branch on Route 3-A

Hingham Police are looking for a man who robbed the Rockland Trust Bank branch at 100 William B.Terry Drive on Friday afternoon around 4:00 p.m.

The thief stated that he had a weapon, but did not show it.

After the teller handed him a bag of money, the thief ran from the bank along Route 3-A.

Police described the suspect as a white male, in his 30’s, with some facial hair.

He was wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark sweatpants and white sneakers, but was not wearing a mask to conceal his identity.

Anyone with information about the robbery, or who noticed any vehicles in the area at the time of the robbery, is asked to contact Hingham Police.
