Middleboro: 20-yr-old man charged in connection with fatal car crash

A 20-year-old Middleboro man has been arrested  and charged in connection with a fatal crash that happened over the weekend.

Zachery Lemmo is charged with motor vehicle homicide while under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

Around 9PM Saturday, two vehicles collided on Route-44 in Middleboro. The driver of one of the vehicles, 61-year-old James Braga, was pronounced dead at the scene. Braga was a former Middleboro High School teacher and Vietnam veteran.

Lemmo was arrested at his Middleboro home Tuesday without incident. He’ll be arraigned Wednesday at Wareham District Court.
