Police say a 29-year-old Weymouth man has been selling heroin out of his Washington Street home.
After observing what they believed to be a drug deal, Weymouth detectives executed a search warrant at Daryl Notrem’s residence and recovered drugs, drug packaging material, a digital scale, and a double-edge switch blade knife.
Notrem is facing a slew of charges including distribution of heroin, possession with intent to distribute class A, B, C and E drugs, and possession of a dangerous weapon.
But while detectives were searching Notrem’s home, Jarek Walsh of Weymouth arrived at the house. Police were actually looking for the 23-year-old because he had an outstanding warrant for a breaking and entering arrest.
Walsh was also arrested and transported to Quincy District Court with Notrem Thursday morning.
