Plymouth County Commissioner, Greg Hanley, commented on-air to WATD’s Christine James Friday morning — after we ran a previous story regarding a proposal by a Hingham man to have the town of Hingham withdraw from Plymouth County.

Hanley states that to end County government, there is an obligation of about $64 million. According to actuarial studies, it would take 28 years for cities and towns to pay off that debt, with no services, and no assets…
