Hull: 44-yr-old man charged with invading home and assaulting pregnant woman

A Hull man is facing a slew of charges after allegedly breaking into a pregnant woman’s home and assaulting her before leading police on a chase.

Officers responded to a home on Kingsley Way Monday after receiving a call that a man invaded the home and then fled on foot.

According to Hull police, 44-year-old Brian Michaels was seen running ahead of officers and at one point, they observed as Michaels tossed a 9-millimeter handgun into a dog house in the backyard of a home on Waltham Street.

However, Hull officers caught up with him as he was trying to enter the basement of a nearby home.

Among the charges against Michaels include assault and battery with dangerous weapon on a pregnant person and breaking and entering in the daytime.
