Kingston: Newcomers beat incumbents in town election

Four contested races were decided in Kingston on Saturday.

Dennis Randall beat out three other candidates for a one year term on the board of selectmen with 347 votes.

Elaine Fiore bested two challengers for a three year term with 751 votes, including incumbent Joe Casna, who received 429 votes, and Sam Cappola, who received 59.

Susan Boyer beat out William Watson for a one year term on the Planning Board, 749 votes to 377.

Toni Cushman bested two incumbents for a three year seat on the Board of Health with 652 votes, compared to William Kavol’s 612 and Dan Sapir’s 594.
