Carver: Accident sends 22 year-old man to the hospital

Early this morning, Carver Police received numerous 911 calls reporting a one car crash at the intersection of High Street and Gate Street

When rescue crews arrived, they found a 1997 Toyota Camry that crashed into a tree.

The driver, 22 year-old Brandon Kingston of Carver, was unconscious and trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by the Carver Fire Department with use of the Jaws of Life.

Kingston was transported by ambulance to Jordan Hospital with severe head trauma.

He was later transported to the Boston Medical Center by Med-Flight.

Police believe alcohol and negligent operation are responsible for the crash that remains under investigation.

About David Skill

Dave Skill’s radio career began in the fall of 1964 when he arrived on the campus of Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA. Dave barely got his bags unpacked when he paid a visit to WCHC, the campus radio station. And, before he knew it, he was spending so much time as a disc jockey and news writer/reporter, it seemed like he was majoring in “radio” and minoring in academics at “The Cross”. As you might imagine, his grades reflected it! During his junior and senior years, he also worked weekends in news and as a disc jockey at WNEB, the CBS radio affiliate in Worcester at the time.
