Hanover: Town Meeting to address medical marijuana and the Interchange District

Hanover residents gather tonight for Town Meeting.

The twelve article Special Town Meeting warrant includes requests for emergency generators at the fire station, town hall and senior center, as well as a transfer of funds for snow and ice removal expenses.

Among the 43 articles on the Annual Town Meeting warrant are the general operating budget, the water enterprise budget, and requests for new vehicles for the Police and Fire Departments and the DPW.

Another article seeks to amend the town’s Interchange District bylaw.

And there is also an article that would impose a temporary moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries in Hanover.

There is an article calling for changes to the Town Manager’s Act.

Town Meeting begins at 7:30 at Hanover High School on Cedar Street.
