Plymouth: Harnais bids farewell to Board

Plymouth Selectman Sergio Harnais says goodbye to the Board.

At the Selectmen’s meeting this week Selectman Sergio Harnais officially announced why, after three years of service on the board, he decided not to run for re-election.

“The residents of this community expect and deserve a certain amount of work and dedication, and with my traveling it’s just not possible, so that’s why I’m walking away at this point.”

But is he tossing out his signs?

“My wife and I talked and we decided, you know what, we have all those signs—I’m going to keep the signs. I’m not closing the door of running again at a later date. If my work situation changes again like it did this time, the door’s always open for me to step back into the game.
