Bridgewater: Jaws of Life needed after head-on collision

Authorities are investigating a head-on crash between a car and a pickup truck in Bridgewater that sent both drivers to the hospital.

It happened on Rte. 18 at approximately 6:00 a.m. Sunday.

Police told WATD that one of the victims, a 24-year-old man, was flown to Boston after crews used the Jaws of Life to get him out of the vehicle.

The other driver was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton.

Neither the names nor the conditions of the victims were released Sunday afternoon.
