Hingham: Town administrator earns bonus pay

Thursday night Hingham Selectmen renewed the contract of town administrator Ted Alexiades for three years with the continuation of an unusual clause – a performance bonus.

Selectmen set goals for town government. If the town administrator enables one or more of those goals, selectmen pay a bonus.

Selectmen set property tax relief as a goal. Under Alexiades’ leadership, the town reduced the tax burden on residents. He will receive an, undisclosed, bonus as a result.
