Carver: Man with Alzheimer’s disease who was reported missing has been found

An elderly Carver resident who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease was reported missing after he failed to pick up his wife at the Plymouth Walmart Tuesday night. 82 year-old Wendell Rowe had dropped his wife off to go shopping and was supposed to stay in the parking lot.

A friend called Rowe’s house and spoke to Rowe, who said he was heading back to Walmart, but never arrived.

This morning, Rowe was located in Falmouth when an employee from Fiddlers Cove Marina saw him on the grounds of the marina.

Falmouth Police returned Rowe to his family.

About David Skill

Dave Skill’s radio career began in the fall of 1964 when he arrived on the campus of Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA. Dave barely got his bags unpacked when he paid a visit to WCHC, the campus radio station. And, before he knew it, he was spending so much time as a disc jockey and news writer/reporter, it seemed like he was majoring in “radio” and minoring in academics at “The Cross”. As you might imagine, his grades reflected it! During his junior and senior years, he also worked weekends in news and as a disc jockey at WNEB, the CBS radio affiliate in Worcester at the time.
