Hull: Selectmen to discuss dangerous dog

The fate of dangerous dog may be decided by Hull selectmen when they meet Tuesday night.

The four-year-old English bulldog has hurt two people and another dog in two separate incidents in April and May.

In the first, the dog attacked a yellow Lab and bit its owner when he tried to intervene.

In the other incident, a woman was bitten as she walked by the dog’s fenced-in yard on Manoment Ave.

The town’s animal control officer has told selectmen she’s concerned about the threat the bulldog poses to public safety.

Selectmen could order the dog removed from Hull, restrained, muzzled, confined to his owner’s home, or euthanized.
