Plymouth: Boston Strong 5K

The South Shore’s new baseball club filled the time between double headers Friday evening with an extra run–one that raised money for a good cause.

The Plymouth Pilgrims Baseball Club gives every home game a theme. Friday night the team split a double-header with New Bedford and the therem was “fitness night”. So in the time between the two games, three dozen people ran from home plate, around Plymouth’s Forges Field athletic complex for five kilometers and returned to home plate.

Every runner made a donation to the Boston One Fund for the right to participate.
