Wareham: Robbery suspect with criminal past held without bail

There’s no bail for Wareham man already on the wrong side of the law, as he faces even more trouble.

31-year-old Toure Perry is accused of robbing two teenagers at gunpoint.

Robbery suspect Toure Perry

Police say it happened near Sullivan’s Liquors on Marion Rd.

An officer was flagged down by the teen boys late Thursday afternoon.

They say Perry spoke with them for a minute before pulling what looked like a gun, and stealing their cell phones and other items.

He was arrested in the liquor store parking lot a short time later and charged with armed robbery, though the weapon has not been found.

Perry is due back in court next month.

And next week, he’s slated to go on trial on an unrelated charge of violating a harassment order.
