Weymouth: Man found with large amount of cash charged with bank robbery

A Weymouth man with a criminal history is being held without bail, this time for robbing a bank.

Authorities arrested 33-year-old David Starck after they found him hiding in a closet with a lot of cash in a condo on Pleasant St.

He’s accused of robbing the Eastern Bank on Washington St. in Weymouth late Friday afternoon, after handing a teller a note saying he had a weapon.

The suspect fled on foot, and police say they were able to track him down with the help of witnesses.

Two young Weymouth women who were also in the home with Starck are charged with obstruction and being accessories after the fact.

They’re identified as 22-year-old Devin MacKenzie and 21-year-old Courtney McCann.

Starck was previously wanted on drug charges.
