Bridgewater voters give the green light to some much-needed repairs and renovations to buildings around town.
By a nearly 2-to-1 margin Saturday, residents approved a ballot question asking for a $5.3 million Proposition 2 ½ debt exclusion.
The money will pay for overhauling the Academy building and putting a new roof on Bridgewater Middle School.
The Central Fire Station will also get a new roof and the Memorial building will be made more handicapped-accessible.
Voter turnout was less than ten percent.
