Brockton: Police investigate shooting outside house party

A shooting in Brockton sent a young man to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries early Sunday.

Police told WATD they got a call from the emergency room at Good Samaritan Medical Center at approximately 2:00 a.m., saying there was 18-year-old with a wound to the pelvic area.

The unidentified teen told officers he was shot while in the driveway of a home on Ash St. where a party was going on, though it’s unclear who drove him to the hospital.

He was later flown to a Boston hospital.

As of Sunday afternoon, police had no motive for the shooting and no arrests had been made.
