Cohasset: Man and woman arrested for child endangerment

A Scituate man and a woman from Weymouth have been arrested after the 2-year-old boy they were babysitting was spotted running in traffic in the parking lot of a Cohasset strip mall on Friday.

33 year-old Rohn Hess and 26 year-old Jennifer Fiori are charged with reckless endangerment of a child, and are facing arraignment in Quincy District Court.

They were arrested after a woman called police saying she had seen a man who appeared to be drunk or on drugs walking with a toddler in the strip mall parking lot on King Street.

The witness also said she saw the man let the child run in traffic.

Officers then arrested Hess.

A half hour later, Fiori approached police officers at the scene and said that she was the boy’s nanny. Police said she, also,  appeared to be on drugs and was arrested.

The child was not harmed and was returned to his father in Dorchester.

About David Skill

Dave Skill’s radio career began in the fall of 1964 when he arrived on the campus of Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA. Dave barely got his bags unpacked when he paid a visit to WCHC, the campus radio station. And, before he knew it, he was spending so much time as a disc jockey and news writer/reporter, it seemed like he was majoring in “radio” and minoring in academics at “The Cross”. As you might imagine, his grades reflected it! During his junior and senior years, he also worked weekends in news and as a disc jockey at WNEB, the CBS radio affiliate in Worcester at the time.
