Braintree: Two arrested after receiving pot package

Two are under arrest after what police say is the largest marijuana seizure in years.

22-year-old Danielle Sims of Medford, Oregon and 39-year-old Jacob Pulido of Boston were arrested yesterday after Sims picked up package later found to contain 12 pounds of marijuana.

Braintree police say they were told by Oregon authorities that a package with drugs was being shipped to Sims. On September 10th, a package with 16 pounds of pot arrived in Braintree, but no one came to pick it up.

A second package arrived Wednesday, and Sims retrieved it, while Pulido picked her up in a car.

Both were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate the Controlled Substance Act. Pulido was also charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
