Bridgewater: Car strikes house

A car crashed into a home in Bridgewater after the driver had an apparent heart attack.

Police told WATD it happened as 45-year-old Norman Melendy was driving on Main St./Rte. 28 around 7:00 a.m. Saturday.

The car struck the front of a house, causing some damage, but no injuries to anyone in the home.

Melendy, of Bridgewater, was flown to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

His condition is unknown.
