Brockton: Woman charged with drunk driving after car hits house

A young Brockton woman will appear in court on drunk driving and other charges, after her car apparently hit a house in the city late Saturday night.

Brockton police told WATD the woman struck a fire hydrant, a chain-link fence and the front steps and porch of the house at the intersection of Field and Winter Sts. shortly after midnight.

The driver, Gilliame Fils-Aime, will appear in Brockton District Court on Monday.
