Hanover: Residents choose a new selectman

At Saturday’s special election in Hanover, Brian Barthelmes won a majority of votes in all four precincts and now is the new selectman in Hanover.

Barthelmes got a total of 421 votes.

Coming in second with 156 votes was Nancy Leonard.

Mark Christensen came in third with 116 votes.

The election was held to fill a vacant seat on the Hanover Board of Selectmen.
