One suspect is in custody and the search is on for another, after an elderly woman was injured after being carjacked in a parking lot in an incident connected to an armed robbery in Weymouth.

Police were called to Prevites Market Friday afternoon on a report of a robbery by two black men wearing masks.

One of the suspects, identified as 26-year-old Angelo Ayuso of Dorchester, was arrested a short time later after fleeing through the Queen Anne’s Gate apartment complex in Weymouth.

Police say the other suspect jumped a barbed wire fence into the Linden Ponds retirement complex in Hingham, right over the Weymouth line, and carjacked the unidentified woman.

The vehicle was later found abandoned in Quincy, and that suspect had not been arrested as of Sunday afternoon.

Ayuso is being held at Weymouth Police Headquarters on $100,000 bail.

Police later recovered money stolen in the robbery, as well as a gun and some of the clothing the suspects were wearing, in a wooded area near where he was arrested.
