Plymouth: Pilgrim plant back online

After being offline for a week, The Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant is up and running again.

Carol Wightman, a spokesperson for Pilgrim owner Entergy, announced Monday morning that the plant went back into service just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

On September 8, the plant was taken offline when the plant’s feedwater system developed a small leak.

Pilgrim was down for a week in January, and again for almost a week in late August.

About David Skill

Dave Skill’s radio career began in the fall of 1964 when he arrived on the campus of Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA. As you might imagine, his grades reflected it! During his junior and senior years, he also worked weekends in news and as a disc jockey at WNEB, the CBS radio affiliate in Worcester at the time...
