Bridgewater: Arrest made in Bridgewater Savings Bank Robbery

An East Bridgewater man is currently being held on $50,000 bail in connection with a Bridgewater bank robbery.

51-year-old Edward Dias was arrested and arraigned earlier this week for the alleged robbery of Bridgewater Savings Bank, on Rt.104, last Thursday.

He is scheduled for a probable cause hearing next week.

Dias is facing a charge of unarmed robbery – it’s not known how much money he took.

Police made the arrest after a search warrant of his home was executed over the weekend.
