Bridgewater: Young man stabbed in apparent gang-related incident

A young South Shore man is hospitalized in an apparent gang-related stabbing at the hands of three Brockton men now charged with attempted murder.

The victim, 21-year-old Jacob Klapman of Abington, was stabbed multiple times early Sunday morning outside the Broad Street Pub in Bridgewater.

His condition is unknown.

Charged are 22-year-old James Chalmers, 23-year-old Jason Hodo, and 44-year-old Nicholas Hodo.

They were pulled over in Whitman and arrested shortly after the stabbing.

They’ll appear in Brockton District Court on Monday.
