Woburn, MA (AP/WATD Newsroom) – The son of Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy has another date with a judge in the murder of his girlfriend.

Jared Remy has already pleaded not guilty in District Court in the death of Jennifer Martel.

He was indicted late last month, so the case now moves to Superior Court, where he’s due to appear on Tuesday.

Remy is accused of repeatedly stabbing Martel in front of their young daughter at their Waltham townhouse in August.

Authorities said he was covered in blood when they arrested him at the scene.

Martel’s murder happened the day after Remy was released from custody for apparently assaulting her.

The case has brought a push for changes in the state’s domestic violence laws.

After his son’s arrest, Jerry Remy announced he wouldn’t return to the broadcast booth this season, saying he was “full of grief” for Martel’s family.
