Cohasset: Officials name three town manager finalists

Cohasset selectmen voted to narrow down three out of five candidates for the job of Cohasset town manager Wednesday night.

Selectman Chair Fred Koed announced the names of the three finalists.

“The board took a paper ballot to see where everybody was and we ended up on a first vote, of narrowing the field to three candidates. They are Steven Hartford, from Westerly Rhode Island, Christopher Senior, from North Hampstead, New York and Grady Miller from Narraganset, Rhode Island.”

Koed said that the public is invited to meet the three candidates at the fire station next Monday and Tuesday afternoon.

“At the Cohasset Police and Fire Station, in the fire department bay, will be coffee and a meet and greet for the public to meet the candidates, on Monday and Tuesday between 2 and 3 PM.”

The finalists will also meet with town department heads, the financial team and town hall staff and tour some town facilities.

Selectmen said if all goes well, they could be naming a new town manager at their meeting next Tuesday night.
