Hanover: Single vehicle crash closes road, sends one to the hospital

A single vehicle crash at West Ave and Pleasant Street in West Hanover on Friday afternoon shut down road down for about 45 minutes and sent one person to the hospital.

Witnesses say the crash happened just after 5 p.m. when the vehicle struck a utility pole and flipped over on its side.

The vehicle was removed, and National Grid was called to the scene to replace the pole.
