In Plymouth, the Board of Selectmen meet Tuesday night and will hear an update from the County Commissioners on their regional initiatives. Commission Chairman Dan Pallotta, and Commissioners Greg Hanley and Sandra Wright will be present as well as County Treasurer Tom O’Brien.
The group will talk about the County’s trash and energy collaboratives, the planning grant they have received to begin a dredging program—a service to the County’s eleven coastal communities to dredge their waterways—and a county-wide service to housing authorities for regional purchases.
A discussion by the Board concerning the offer of land at 95 White Horse Road will be taken up again as well. The matter was continued from their meeting of September 17th when it was decided that more time was needed to answer questions raised by residents and the Select Board. The donor set up almost an acre of land as a park, with grassy areas, planting and granite seating with the stipulation that the town keep it as a community park for at least 95 years.
Selectmen meet Tuesday at 7 p.m.
