Beacon Hill: Quahog makes progress in bid to become official state shellfish

It started as a civics lesson, became a surprisingly contentious bill, and has languished up at the Statehouse for years. But now there seems to be some sign that an official Commonwealth of Massachusetts shellfish may be in the future.
