Brockton: Man pleads guilty to all charges in 2012 Duxbury home invasion

Duxbury Police have charged former South Shore resident Brett Roderick, recently of Oklahoma, of attempted home invasion and attempted murder at the home of a police officer in Duxbury in May of 2012.

On Wednesday, he pled guilty as charged in Brockton Superior Court. Superior court judge Robert Cosgrove sentenced him to from six to seven and a half years in state prison.

The prosecutor had asked for ten years minimum, Roderick’s defense attorney asked for five. WATD’s Charles Mathewson was in the courtroom and has this report.
