Plymouth: Man arrested for breaking into home with knife

A man who allegedly broke into a home in North Plymouth with a knife last night is under arrest. 26 year old Matthew Spring of Pembroke is being charged with home invasion, destruction of property, and threatening to commit a crime.

Police say Spring broke into the house on Court Street at around 2:30 in the morning armed with a knife and threatened to kill one someone who lives there. He was caught outside the house.

Spring allegedly told police he was looking to get a stolen wallet back. People in the house say they didn’t know Spring and don’t know of any stolen wallet.
