Plymouth: Pilgrim Nuclear back in operation following shutdown

The Pilgrim nuclear plant in Plymouth is back online after being shut down most of last week.

The facility was reconnected to the power grid on Saturday afternoon, after it was taken offline Wednesday.

Joyce McMahon, a spokeswoman with plant owner Entergy, told WATD that technicians repacked a steam supply valve related to the turbine system.

McMahon said issues like this occur from time to time and there was no danger to the public.
