Marshfield: Coastal Coalition holding Abatement Day on Saturday

Homeowners in Marshfield and Scituate, whose flood insurance bills are $5000 or more, or who have seen their rates rise by 100 percent, are urged to attend tomorrow’s Massachusetts Coastal Coalition’s Marshfield, Scituate Abatement Day.

Homeowners are asked to bring their flood insurance bill and will be given help in filling out the abatement forms, which are available on the Massachusetts Coastal Coalition website – massachusettscoastalcoalition.org.

Realtors will be on hand, as well, to provide needed assistance.

The Abatement Day hours are from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m at Saint Ann’s Parish Hall, 591 Ocean Street in Marshfield.

The last day to submit completed abatement forms is February 1st.
