Carver: Car accident knocks down utility pole

No injuries are reported in a motor vehicle accident Monday night just after 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of Plymouth Street and Center Street in Carver.

Carver Police, Fire and EMS responded and, upon arrival, officers found a 2008 Cadillac had driven through a utility pole and the pole was on the roof of the Cadillac.

NStar was called to the scene to replace the pole and remove it from the roof of the vehicle.

NStar crews worked through the night to replace the damaged pole. The vehicle was driven by a 28 year old Carver man, whose name has not been released. The accident is under investigation by Carver Police.
