Fire tore through a house in the Rexhame area of Marshfield over the weekend.
Crews were called to the home at 120 Monitor Rd. at approximately 6:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Deputy Fire Chief Bill Hocking told WATD the unoccupied summer home had heavy fire and smoke on the first floor and had been burning for a while before firefighters arrived on scene.
The home has been declared a total loss.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but Hocking said it does not appear suspicious at this time.
