Braintree: 27-year-old woman dies in early morning car crash

A 27-year-old woman has died from injuries from early morning car crash.

State Police responded to a route 93-Southbound one vehicle crash near Exit 18, by the HOV lane, just past 3:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

The victims 2013 Hyundai Accent had swerved to the left and crashed into a concrete barrier.

Alycia Rice, of Braintree was extricated from her vehicle and taken to Boston Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police.
