Brockton: Father dies in weekend car carsh

It was a weekend tragedy in Brockton, after a local father of three was killed in a car accident.

Authorities say Morris Webb was driving on Legion Pkwy before dawn Saturday when another driver ran a red light at the intersection of Main St. and struck his car.

Webb was ejected after the vehicle rolled over and hit the Korean-Vietnam War Memorial, knocking down a concrete pillar and lightpole.

He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The driver of the other car, Joshua Cooper, and a passenger were also taken to a hospital, but their conditions are unknown.

So far no charges have been filed.
