Brockton: Twin brothers face drug, gun charges

(AP) – Twin brothers from Brockton are headed to court to face drug and gun charges.

Police say Rickey Depina and Roger Depina, both 26, are scheduled to be arraigned Monday on charges including illegal possession of a large capacity firearm, ammunition and a large capacity feeding device, cocaine trafficking and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.

They were arrested Friday during raids at addresses in Brockton and Weymouth. Police say they seized more than a pound of cocaine, $38,000 in cash, a gun and smaller amounts of heroin, and Percocet. The estimated street value of the drugs was $50,000. It’s not clear if they have lawyers.

Police tell The Enterprise that Rickey Depina got out of prison in January after completing a five-year term on gun-related charges.
