Marshfield: Driver of car seriously injured in crash with small school bus

One person is hospitalized with serious injuries following a motor vehicle accident this morning in the vicinity of Ferry and Furnace Streets in Marshfield.

Just before 8:00 a.m., a car crossed the double line going northbound and hit a small school bus heading south.

Both vehicles spun around as a result of the crash, the bus ending up in some woods.

The bus driver and two students on board the bus were not injured.

The driver of the car was taken to South Shore Hospital by ambulance.
