Middleboro: Home invasion suspects set for arraignment

Three Middleboro men will be arraigned Tuesday on home invasion charges in Wareham District Court.

Middleboro Det. Sgt. Joseph Perkins decline to disclose the motive, but attempted to quell neighbor’s fears saying the assailants knew the victim and the incident was not an act of random violence.

The men accused of the home invasion, 22-year-old Martin Hancock, 23-year-old Scott Spillane, and 20-year-old Albert Noons were arrested within hours of a report that masked intruders entered a home on Winter Street, brandishing a gun.

Shortly after the men were arrested officer Jerry Donahue and K-9 Phaellan found a loaded .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol tossed in the woods near the home.

The victim faces potential charges in connection to a search warrant that was executed at his home to determine the motive of the home invasion.
