Plymouth: High speed chase overnight in Plymouth ends in Brockton

Two people are under arrest after a high speed chase that started around Midnight Wednesday.

A Chevrolet Camaro with New York plates was reportedly involved in the chase that went from North Plymouth down Route 44 into Carver with speeds reaching 100 miles an hour.

State police officers attempted to use stop sticks at the intersection of Route 44 and 105 in Middleboro.

But that didn’t stop the Camaro that continued on into Bridgewater.

The chase eventually ended in Brockton on Route 28.

The driver, a woman, was taken into custody, along with a passenger.

During the chase, a Plymouth police car was rammed and two Brockton cruisers were also struck by the Camaro.

About David Skill

Dave Skill’s radio career began in the fall of 1964 when he arrived on the campus of Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA. Dave barely got his bags unpacked when he paid a visit to WCHC, the campus radio station. And, before he knew it, he was spending so much time as a disc jockey and news writer/reporter, it seemed like he was majoring in “radio” and minoring in academics at “The Cross”. As you might imagine, his grades reflected it! During his junior and senior years, he also worked weekends in news and as a disc jockey at WNEB, the CBS radio affiliate in Worcester at the time.
