Plymouth: Man injured in hospital parking lot accident

A motor vehicle accident in Parking Lot “C” at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth early this morning lands one man in the hospital.

Plymouth Police Captain John Rogers says the driver of a vehicle jumped the curb in the parking lot, went through a guard rail and the vehicle ended up hanging over a ledge.

When the driver attempted to get out of the vehicle, he fell over the ledge and landed about 20 feet below.

An emergency room worker saw what happened and alerted the emergency room and then called 9-11.

The man was rescued by firefighters and was taken into the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The accident happened around 3:30 a.m.

About David Skill

Dave Skill’s radio career began in the fall of 1964 when he arrived on the campus of Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA. Dave barely got his bags unpacked when he paid a visit to WCHC, the campus radio station. And, before he knew it, he was spending so much time as a disc jockey and news writer/reporter, it seemed like he was majoring in “radio” and minoring in academics at “The Cross”. As you might imagine, his grades reflected it! During his junior and senior years, he also worked weekends in news and as a disc jockey at WNEB, the CBS radio affiliate in Worcester at the time.
