Quincy: Police searching for missing Marshfield man

Update 3/6/2014 : The subject has been located safe and sound in the Boston area

Early Wednesday a code red call went out to Marshfield residents, alerting them to be on the lookout for 27 year old Steven Maynard, 5′-8″, 270 pounds, wearing blue basketball shorts and white long sleeve t-shirt.

Maynard is partially bald, with facial hair, he has a mental illness and left the area of Plymouth Avenue around 8:30 a.m.

The man was traced to the area of the South Shore Plaza. From there he took a bus to the Quincy “T” Station, where local Quincy police are searching for him.

He is being sought for a well being check — he is not in trouble with police, but they do need to check on him. If you’re in Quincy, and you see a man matching his description, please call police.
