Cohasset: Town Manager Act and medical marijuana to be discussed at Town Meeting

Amendments to town bylaws concerning Cohasset’s Town Manager Act and registered medical marijuana treatment centers in town are among the 29 articles on tonight’s Cohasset Annual Town Meeting warrant.

Residents will vote on the town’s operating budget as well the proposed capital budget.

The capital budget request article is for more than $770,000.

Article 13 is for a Town Hall restoration and reconstruction study. Funding for this study would come from the Capital Stabilization Fund and amount to no more than $65,000.

Article 20 is for a Sewer District bylaw.

The warrant also contains a number of citizen’s petitions.

Town Meeting begins at 7:00 tonight in the gymnasium of Cohasset High School.
